Detroit Catholic Central vs Cranbrook
Detroit Catholic Central and Cranbrook have been competing against each other in the sport of hockey since 1935. And it has been a storied rivalry that has been played out in rinks all across the metro Detroit area - from the hallowed outdoor facility at Cranbrook, the Wallace Ice Arena, Olympia Stadium, Riverside Arena (ON), Redford Ice Arena and to the Compuware Arena and many rinks in between.
Since the sanctioning of the sport of hockey by the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) in 1979 they have combined for 23 MHSAA State Championships (CC – 9 Division I, CK – 14 Division III).
